First off, coming off a MRSA infection and having to pay extremely close attention to the affected area in case of reinfection. Hopefully the meds took care of it, but... well, we'll see. This stuff is notoriously resilient. Secondly, this is the Busy Season, as far as family stuff goes for me. If I can get a thread going, I can probably keep active, but GETTING a thread going is somewhat iffy right now because my poor brain is fried keeping up with everything else, recipes and schedules foremost. Third, there's the whole disability thing. I have no idea what kind of hoops the SSI people are going to make me jump through, here, so my schedule is going to be waaaay more screwed up than usual. Fourth: ...My computer may be in the process of dying. x_x I hope not, but I've had two BSoD in the past week...
All that said, if I manage to get a thread going I'll definitely be rescinding this hiatus. Cross your fingers, guys. I've got all mine crossed already.
New laptop isn't quite here yet, but will be today or tomorrow. With Christmas past, the only holiday I have left to worry about is New Year's, with my brother's wedding following about a week after. After that I'm FINALLY FREEEEEE!!!
